Whispers of the City

Interplay of manzanita tree wood, with tubular holders from Bangalow palm, constructed floral forms and cascading cardboard palm branch.

The Process

Leaves are collected from different environments to capture a wide range of colors, textures, and natural variations. Some leaves dry under direct sunlight, developing crisp surfaces and rich earthy tones. Others are gathered from shaded areas where they maintain softer hues and more subtle textures. In certain pieces, fresh leaves are carefully shaped and left to dry naturally, preserving their form and character over time.

Materials

Leaves are carefully collected from a variety of trees and shrubs, each chosen for its natural structure and tone. The leaves are then individually shaped and arranged by hand to create botanical forms inspired by natural blossoms.
